It’s the array of guns, equipment and technological tricks that always makes the game, and it’s those that you’ll be talking about long after the level design or graphics have become secondary thoughts. Can you imagine Half-Life 2 without the gravity gun? Or Turok with out the cerebral bore? Doom without a chainsaw or Quake 3 without a rail gun? What would be the point?
