Now that the network is ending Lost after six seasons (in 2010) showrunner JJ Abrams is prepared to contemplate a Lost movie... perhaps. He told MTV that while he believes a cinematic move is doubtful, he's less against the idea than in the past.
"The one thing that makes you think maybe there could be [a movie]," claims Abrams, who's also in charge of the next Star Trek film , "is that ABC agreed to end the series after six years. Which is a gift... You have that sense of, well, it didn’t go on any longer and therefore is there something else that you could do? So there’s a chance..."
MTV also has a video clip of JJ Abrams talking at length but this is only viewable by people in the US.
