Sam Worthington (top left), Gemma Arterton (top right), Alexa Davalos (bottom left) and Mads Mikkelsen (bottom right)
Casting is well underway for director Louis (Incredible Hulk) Leterrier’s Clash Of The Titan’s remake, with Gemma Arterton, Alexa Davalos and Mads Mikkelsen all now signed up.
They join Sam Worthington (soon to be seen in both Terminator Salvation and Avatar) who stars as Perseus. Alexa Davalos – who played electric girl Gwen Raidan in Angel – will play Andromeda, the princess Perseus has to rescue from the God of Hell, Hades. Arterton is Io, who is instrumental in bringing the winged horse Pegasus to Perseus, while Quantum of Solace’s Mads Mikkelsen is Draco, a skilled fighter and leader of the Praetorian Guard that accompanies Perseus.
No news yet on whether Bubo will be putting in an appearance. If not, how about a movie teaming up Bubo with Twiki and Muffit the Daggit? Equal rights for annoying R2D2-inspired cute robots!
