Adam McKay in negotiations to direct Three Mississippi
He could be taking on Will Ferrell comedy
Just yesterday we reported that Will Ferrell and Adam McKay were reuniting for the seventh time as actor and director with Swear To God .
Their sixth outing comes in the form of football comedy Three Mississippi , which McKay was originally signed on to produce.
Now, though, The Other Guys director is in negotiations to get behind the camera – perhaps because his adap of comic The Boys is taking its time coming together.
Three Mississippi centres on two neighbouring families whose Thanksgiving football match has turned into a competition of epic proportions. A bit like that episode of Friends with the Geller Cup.
If McKay's deal goes through, it'll be the fifth time he's directed a Ferrell film - and based on the duo's track record ( Anchorman , Step Brothers ), that can only mean good things.
