Adam McKay teases secret Marvel project
Hints at potential directorial gig
Adam McKay has been discussing his upcoming slate, and has hinted at a potential directorial gig with Marvel at some point down the track…
Crave put the question to McKay as to whether he had anything new on the horizon, and the director has raised eyebrows by dropping Marvel straight into the equation.
“I’m starting to get into the early stages with Marvel,” says McKay. “There’s plenty of fun stuff and our company always has tons of things so we have a couple movies coming out this year.”
“I just did a big rewrite on Ant-Man with Paul Rudd and had such a great time working with them that we’re kicking around ideas. But yeah, maybe I would take on one of the characters.”
“We haven’t locked in anything,” he continues, “but discussions are definitely going on.” Intriguing. In the meantime, Ant-Man will open in UK cinemas on 17 July 2015.
