Unlocking Hats
Hats are normally discovered by destroying specific buildings. For example, you can discover a secret hat by destroying the Castle of Crap on level 1-3.
Freak attack
Jump over an enemy and press X over top of them. You will grab onto their head and ride them.
Bite off heads
While in freakout press square to bite off the head of the agent you are riding.
Pick up agent/Throw agent
While in freakout press triangle to pick up the agent you are riding and carry them. Then press square to toss them.
Hats
Hats are acquired sometimes by blowing up a certain building, or by beating a boss a certain way. You'll know you've unlocked a hat when you hear a foghorn sound.
Extra Life
Digging next to a flower will score you a extra life

In the 2nd World, if you see a flower go next to it and press down+triangle to dig under ground and press square to grab the flower - you get an extra life.

Unlock Goggles
To get goggles to wear you must first get to level 1-4 when you get there you will get a tank advance through the level until you see a helicopter. Destroy the helicopter without losing the tank and you will a here a horn which is a sign that means you got the goggles!
