All that glitters is this Hyrule Edition New 3DS XL
Still not found an excuse to pick up the New 3DS with its built in Amiibo support? Well good news if you really like gold. Nintendo has unveiled the Hyrule Edition of the New 3DS XL - complete with Hylian Crest - which will be out on March 24th to celebrate the release of Hyrule Warriors: Legends. The console has actually been out in the US since October but so it's finally the EU's chance to catch up.
March is definitely the month for all things Link shaped. The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is out on March 4th alongside a new Wolf Link Amiibo which allows you to open an exclusive bonus area known as the Cave of Shadows. Handily, the Amiibo can also store hearts earned in the game to use while you're in the cave itself. Check it out in action in the video below.
Twilight Princess also works with five other Legend Of Zelda Amiibo from the Super Smash Bros Collection. The Zelda and Sheik figures refill the heart gauge, while Link and Toon Link will top up your arrows. Somewhat unhelpfully, Ganondorf will cause enemy attacks to inflict twice as much damage so maybe be glad if you don't have it?
