Amazon lists then removes Vita version of Marvel vs Capcom 3. They know we have screengrab, right?
Too late - everyone saw it!
Of course, such a rumour is usually not worth reporting, but considering how good Street Fighter X Tekken is looking on Vita, this sounds perfectly reasonable - not to mention exciting.
Above: There it is(or, rather 'was'). There must be some reason for creating a Vita version in the system...
But the puzzling thing about the listing is that it's simple the 'Fate of Two Worlds' sub-header. With Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 being readied for release on home consoles, it does seem odd that Capcom would release the old version of the game on Vita. After all, 3DS' astonishing port of Super Street Fighter IV had all of the 'Super' characters in it, and that was running on a 'mere' 3DS.
If there's any truth to the rumour, you can expect the game to run like a dream on the new handheld. From a company that can get an iPhone 3GS to run a near-as-dammit version of Street Fighter IV, a console spec handheld should be easy for Capcom toharness and create somethingrather wonderful. Check out this video of the console version and imagine it running on a Vita in your very hands. Yum.
