The cast and crew of American Horror Story announced the title of season three at PaleyFest in Los Angeles yesterday.
And it will be… (drumroll please):
American Horror Story: Coven .
So, looks like returning star Jessica Lange and new star Kathy Bates could be playing battling witches, then.
Frances Conroy, Taissa Farmiga, Lily Rabe, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will all be returning to the series in new roles (as has become the custom). We also know that the story this time will take place in various cities, and one of those cities will be New Orleans. There will also be more location shooting.
Joint creator/showrunner Ryan Murphy said, “The fun thing is researching what are the really haunted places in America, and we have a couple doozy locales.”
