American Pie sequel Reunion gets Biggs, Levy and Scott
Original stars return
Ingredients for the belated American Pie sequel American Reunion are coming together nicely, with news that three of the original Pie stars have signed on to return.
Jason Biggs, Seann William Scott and Eugene Levy have all agreed to reprise their roles as hapless Jim, legendary jokester Stifler, and Jim’s hellacool dad.
They’ll reunite for the series' official fourth big screen outing, which rightly ignores all the dreadful DTV follow-ups that sullied the good name of American Pie.
Meanwhile, other original cast members are looking to join the mix, with Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Chris Klein, Mena Suvari and Jennifer Coolidge all in negotiations.
Strangely, Jim’s flute-loving wife Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) doesn’t appear to be returning – maybe they’ve divorced in the intervening decade.
Filming on American Reunion kicks off 24 May.
