The latest Animal Crossing: New Horizons update has fixed the naked villager glitch that began affecting some islands a couple of weeks ago.
The Animal Crossing: New Horizons naked villager glitch was an amusing and totally unexpected issue that seemed to only happen in the Happy Home Paradise DLC. According to several players online, and now the official patch notes, the issue appeared to only affect villagers in the cafe who were chosen to work in the facility and who were wearing custom designs.
Thankfully, this frankly embarrassing glitch didn’t last long as Nintendo has just released a 2.04 update that fixes several small bugs including the one preventing your villagers from getting dressed in the morning. The full patch notes for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons 2.04 update can be found on Nintendo’s official website, but here's the pertinent update in the patch notes.
- Fixed an issue where facility members wearing clothing that uses Custom Designs appear to not be wearing any clothing.
In other Animal Crossing: New Horizons news, the winter and summer solstice is due on both the Northern and Southern hemispheres and Nook Shopping has a range of items for both locations.
Players in the Northern hemisphere can now pick up a midwinter sweater, the aurora wall, a bathtub with yuzu, and a bowl of Tangyuan until December 22. In the Southern hemisphere, players can grab the maypole and a pair of sunflower sunglasses as well as the summer solstice items from last year if you missed out.
