Ant Bully Gala Screening announced
Warner Bros team with Beatbullying for Leicester Square preview bash
It’s a movie with a message and so naturally, when it came to thrashing out the details for the gala screening of Ant Bully, Warner Bros decided to hook their wagons to an anti-bullying charity - namely Beatbullying.
The flick follows the tale of destructive little oik Lucas Nickle, a 10 year-old who loves to stomp all over ant hills – but now the ants are ready to fight back.
One of their number squeezes a drop of potion in Lucas’ ear, shrinking him to the size of an ant. Dragged down into the depths of the ant hill, Lucas is then put on trial for his crimes against insects.
The movie stars the vocal talents of Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep and Paul Giamatti and hits UK cinema screens on 4 August.
The gala presentation will take place in Leicester Square on Sunday 30 July with a host of stars set to walk the red carpet in the name of the charity.
