Apatow and Feig create new comedy
SNL actress Kristen Wiig set to star…
One of the biggest crimes against television occurred when Judd Apatow and Paul Feig’s coming-of-age comedy Freaks & Geeks got cancelled after just one series.
Well, you can’t keep a good team down, and a decade on from the show’s demise, Apatow and Feig are reuniting to create an as-yet-unnamed comedy.
The film follows two women who wage war to create their friend’s wedding party. Saturday Night Live actress Kristen Wiig is set to star, and co-wrote the script with fellow actress Annie Mumolo.
Feig is all set to direct, while Apatow is on-board as producer. As for casting, nobody other than Wiig is attached so far, but we expect Apatow will be thumbing through his little black book of Hollywood stars to join the party soon.
Now where’s that Freaks & Geeks movie...?
Who else in Apatow's stable would fit the comedy? Ideas below...
