Genre: Shooter

Princesses defending their land is a niche troupe that I tend to love in all media, so this game is no exception. Fly through the sky as Princess Arch, fighting off hordes of invades from her planet. This swipe shooter has great visuals and smooth shooting mechanics. It’s a great take on classic arcade games, but with amped-up graphics and a killer soundtrack.

Genre: Simulator

If absurdity were a game, it would be this, and I love it. There is not much to say about this game other than you play as a Goat causing utter destruction, and you get points based on how much chaos you cause. While Goat Simulator 3 just released for console, this mobile conversion of its predecessor is a good way to spend some time on your phone if you have any to spare. Goat Simulator won't change your life, but it might make you laugh at how utterly ridiculous it is.
