Are there giant eagles in LOTR: War in the North?
New teaser hints at yes, but tells us damn little otherwise
Though the clips are stunning, what with the stabbing, the slashing and the splattering of blood, there’s still no gameplay or further info. What we do get is a tantalizing tease at the video's end: A troll menaces the player, but his killing blow is interrupted by what looks very much like amassive eagle (Great Eagle, if you're a LOTR purist) swooping in, talons spread wide. Hope that’s enough to make you care for a few months while WB calculates what not to tell us next. Our money’s on E3 2010 – expect a whole lot more then.
