ARK: Survival Evolved is out on Xbox One next week
ARK is hitting a full console release next June, but the techno-magic of the modern world means Xbox One players can get in on the action as early as next week - the dinosaur-taming survival smash is hitting Xbox Game Preview (Xbox One's Early Access programme) next Wednesday, 16th December.
As with other Xbox Game Preview games, this is an unfinished version of the game - but Studio Wildcard founder, Jesse Rapczak confirmed to IGN that Xbox One version is up to date with the PC edition (which has tripled its content since its release). The Xbox version will be updated frequently (although not always as quickly as on PC), and will be upgraded for free to the full version once that's released - at $34.99, Rapczak also mentioned that it's cheaper to buy now than it will be upon full release. No UK price has yet been announced.
On top of all that, Xbox Game Preview players will get exclusive in-game items, including a skin that makes a pet T-Rex look like a freaking mech.
