Aronofsky Eyeing The Tiger
Director may adapt novel.
Over the last couple of weeks Darren Aronofsky's name has been attached to Preacher, Superman and, bizarrely enough, Wolverine 2.
Now it seems, the ever-versatile director may be directing Brad Pitt vehicle, 'The Tiger'.
Based on the non-fiction novel by John Vaillant, the plot, set in Russia, concerns a vicious, man-eating tiger, with an apparent vendetta.
Pitt would most likely play the man tasked with tracking the beast.
Early reports suggest that Angelina Jolie may also star, uniting her with real life partner, Pitt. This will be the pairs first time onscreen together since 2005 'Mr. & Mrs. Smith'.
Pitt and Aronofsky came close to working with each other on 'The Fountain', but Pitt dropped out and was replaced by Hugh Jackman.
What do you think? Is Aronofsky a cool enough cat to carry this off, or would you rather see his take on Wolvie? Let us know below.
