Ash vs. Evil Dead season 2 already approved
Evil Dead fans were pleased as punch when Starz commissioned a brand new series of adventures starring Bruce Campbell as everyone's favorite Deadite hunter. Ash Vs. Evil Dead hasn't dropped a single episode and yet the network has ordered a second season of the horror comedy.
“One season isn’t enough to satisfy the fans’ two decade-long appetite for more Ash,” said Starz' Carmi Zlotnik, “The early fan and press support, along with the international broadcaster demand for more story have made it clear that the adventures of Ash Williams can’t end with season one."
The sequel series, produced by Campbell and original creators Sam Raimi and Bob Tapert, picks up with Ash thirty years after his last tussle with the Deadites, where a new wave of demonic terror threatens to overtake the planet. Joining Campbell to battle the hordes is Lucy Lawless as a mysterious character named Ruby, who believes Ash to be the reason for the Deadites' reappearance. We've a feeling she's probably right. Find out when the season one premiere lands Saturday night.
