Ashton Kutcher stars as Steve in first Jobs trailer: watch now
How do you like that Apple?
The first trailer for Jobs , starring Ashton Kutcher in the title role as Apple entrepreneur and innovator, Steve Jobs, has landed online.
Offering up what appears to be a fairly comprehensive attempt to capture Jobs' career arc with Apple, the trailer tracks him from his ambitious start-up with Steve 'Woz' Woziak (Josh Gad), to his ousting from the company he helped to build, to his eventual prodigal-son return.
Perhaps as a result of Jobs' story being so well known, the trailer doesn't seem too fussed about spoilers, summarising the whole plot quite efficiently.
The material should stretch Kutcher's acting chops, as he runs the gamut from ambitious upstart to grey-haired tech prophet. Get a first look at his performance in the trailer below:
Jobs (mercifully retitled from the original jOBS ), is set to open in the US on 16 August 2013, with a UK date yet to be announced. Read our Sundance 2013 reaction to Jobs .
