Assassin's Creed 3 Gamescom trailer shows off naval warfare
Master and Commander
If there's one thing we love about the Assassin's Creed series (other than the neck-stabbing) it's that Ubisoft is always willing to take some chances. Especially in the later games, Ubisoft quite often had something new up their sleeve like the unique assassin-vs-assassin multiplayer mode or Assassin's Creed 2's estate refurbishing. In Assassin's Creed 3, it's naval warfare.
We're hoping these sections of the game play out exactly like a New England version of Sid Meier's Pirates! Only with more neck-stabbing. Lots more neck-stabbing.
This is just the first of several amazing trailers Ubisoft has released for AC3. For a better look at other sides of the game, be sure to check out the others.
Assassin's Creed 3 is currently headed for release later this year on October 30, 2012 on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC as well as Wii U at an undisclosed later date (though probably late 2012 or early 2013.)
