Assassin's Creed Syndicate trailer activates its Wonder Twin powers
The Frye twins of Assassin's Creed Syndicate share a deep bond, thicker than the gallons of blood pooling at their feet. The latest trailer for the game establishes the relationship between the ambitious gang boss Jacob and the more measured Evie, and how they'll work together to make London of the Industrial Revolution a little safer for common folks - and a lot more dangerous for robber barons.
The trailer is mostly composed of actual fistfighting, neck-stabbing, and train-hopping gameplay, albeit with dramatic vignettes and slow motion effects. It's all set to a slow and plaintive cover of "Silent Running" by Mike + The Mechanics, because slow and plaintive covers of hit new wave singles are an essential part of the Assassin's Creed marketing cycle. Check out our recent preview for more hard details on how Jacob and Evie's play styles differ.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
