Assassin's Creed's Helix Rifts return in Syndicate & takes you to... [SPOILERS]
One of Assassin's Creed Unity's many highlights - yes, I really liked my trip to Paris, thanks - was its Helix Rift missions. These saw you jumping through a space time animus wotsit that meant you could explore Paris in other time periods.
Warning: Spoilers if you read on. I mean it.
In my recent hands on with Assassin's Creed Syndicate I discovered that these would return and a quick glance to my map screen revealed exactly where we'll be going. A portal to World War 1 was revealed alongside memories for Queen Victoria, Charles' Dickens and Darwin and Karl Marx.
While previous rifts took us to locations in Paris, this could indeed take us away from London and into the trenches. We'll have to wait and see. Find out more about what I played in my Assassin's Creed Syndicate preview.
