How long to beat Cyberpunk 2077?
This is how long it takes to finish Cyberpunk 2077, depending on playstyle.
If you want to know how long to beat Cyberpunk 2077, that's an answer that'll vary significantly depending on how you want to play. It's a game that can be as short and perfunctory as 20 hours if you're just in it for the plot, or comfortably over 100 hours if you want to comb Night City for every adventure and bit of content you can find. To help you gauge what's ahead of you, we've got all the information covered on Cyberpunk 2077's length below. It's all completely spoiler free as well, so don't worry about ruining anything.
Of course, if you want to know about the new DLC, we've also got a guide explaining: How long is Phantom Liberty?
How long is Cyberpunk 2077?
Because this is a very open world game, it's impossible to say the Cyberpunk 2077 length is a specific amount of time, because everyone will play it differently and take on a different range of missions and objetives. However I, and several other members of the GamesRadar team, have completed the game and can give you estimates based on our experiences.
If you only want to play the main missions and absolutely nothing else, you can breeze through the story in about 15-20 hours. You'll miss out on most of the game this way and a lot of important aspects that tie in to the main story as well. You also won't have all the Cyberpunk 2077 ending options available, as several possibilities tie into missions and relationships that are off the main path.
If your intention is to play through the main story, plus most of the important side stuff, you'll be looking at around 45-50 hours. This way, you're not 100%ing the game and clearing every icon off the map, but you will have explored all the major narrative arcs and your decisions will likely determine the ending you'll get.
Finally, if you want to find everything, complete all gigs and side missions, buy all the vehicles and upgrades, and fully max out your character level, you can expect to spend maybe 80-100 hours in Cyberpunk 2077, or potentially more. There is a lot to do so it's not a quick thing to whizz through if you want to do everything.

Give me a game and I will write every "how to" I possibly can or die trying. When I'm not knee-deep in a game to write guides on, you'll find me hurtling round the track in F1, flinging balls on my phone in Pokemon Go, pretending to know what I'm doing in Football Manager, or clicking on heads in Valorant.
After playing the scariest mission in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, I'm going to need CDPR to make a fully-fledged survival horror RPG right now
Cyberpunk 2077 sequel director says CDPR may "never" win some fans back, but hopes future games like The Witcher 4 will: "That's unfortunately the price we have to pay"
