How to respec in Cyberpunk 2077

Not happy with your V? You'll want to know how to respec in Cyberpunk 2077. Respeccing lets you rest your attributes and perks, so you can completely change your playstyle and opt for one of our best Cyberpunk 2077 builds instead. It's also now far easier to respec in the current version of Cyberpunk 2077, because prior to the 2.0 update, you had to spend a small fortune on a Tabula E-Rasa, but that option is defunct now and you can respec in a much more straightforward manner. Here's how to respec in Cyberpunk 2077.

How the Cyberpunk 2077 respec system works

To respec your character in Cyberpunk 2077 you simply need to go to the character menu and access the Reset Perks option in the bottom left of the screen. That will show you how much it will cost to refund all your perk points only - your attribute points are untouchable however, so those points can't be changed. Click on it to open a confirmation dialogue and if you're happy with the cost and ready to respec, click to continue.

It's a big improvement over the old Tabula E-Rasa Progression Shard. At an initial cost of 100,000 eurodollars it made respecing your character an expensive luxury. Clearly CD Projekt Red was aware players didn't like it as it was initially reduced to a cost of 25,000 in patch Patch 1.2, and then removed entirely with patch 1.3 and replaced with the current system. Now you just pay according to the perk points you have unlocked, which is a cheaper and fairer option. For my character, even with 71 point to play with, I've only got to spend 16,200 Eurodollars for a full reset.
