Hitman 3 Elusive Targets: The Deceivers arrive in Sapienza as the first time-limited contract
Get ready to take on The Deceivers in Sapienza with the upcoming Hitman 3 Elusive Targets contract
The first Hitman 3 Elusive Target has finally been announced in the February Roadmap: The Deceivers will be arriving in Sapienza soon. If you hadn't heard of Elusive Targets before Hitman 3 these are special, one shot contracts only available for a limited time, and the task at hand when they arrive is to use the sparse information provided to track down and assassinate a unique target.
The kicker was, however, that you only got one shot at taking out each target, and once the mission ended in any way (unless you restarted it) you could not replay it, meaning the stakes were high for succeeding under pressure. Performing well and completing contracts unlocked exclusive suits to add to your wardrobe, as rewards for your skilled demonstrations. Now that more details are being released, here's everything we know so far about the upcoming Hitman 3 Elusive Targets.

Who are the next Hitman 3 Elusive Targets
As announced in the February Roadmap video, the first Hitman 3 Elusive Targets will be The Deceivers – a pair of smartly dressed older gentlemen found in Sapienza, Italy. This is actually a repeat of an Elusive Targets contract from the original Hitman, featuring Richard J. Magee aka "The Guru" and Anthony L. Troutt aka "The Congressman". You'll need to eliminate both of them to succeed in this mission, which will be unlocked from February 26 and available until March 8, however no further details are available yet. Back in 2020 the developers stated on an IO Interactive blog post that they are "making some changes to the Elusive Target formula that we’ll reveal at a later date" but we've not heard anything more about what those changes will be.
The other question regarding these Hitman 3 Elusive Targets is about the setting, as you may recognize Sapienza as a location from the original Hitman game. IO Interactive have previously stated that the Hitman 1 GOTY Access Pass will be required to access locations from that previous game, including Sapienza, though it would be unusual for specific DLC to be required to take part in the Hitman 3 Elusive Targets mission. As the previous games' locations are already included in the Hitman 3 files, it's possible that Sapienza will be made available just for these Elusive Targets, but hopefully we'll receive confirmation soon of exactly how things are going to work.
