All 13 Marvel / Fortnite variant covers coming this fall
More worlds collide, as the Marvel/Fortnite crossover expands
Marvel Comics' heroes (and a few villains) have invaded the hit game Fortnite as part of a unique crossover event called 'Nexus War,' and that crossover is going both ways with Fortnite appearing in 13 covers across Marvel's comic book line this fall..
The planned variant covers are:
- Avengers #36 by Sara Pichelli (September 30)
- Fantastic Four #24 by Giuseppe Camuncoli (September 30)
- Savage Avengers #12 by Valerio Giangiordano(September 30)
- Marauders #13 by Russell Dauterman (October 7)
- X-Force #13 by Dustin Weaver (October 7)
- Avengers #37 by Mark Brooks (October 14)
- Captain America #24 by Ed Mcguinness (October 14)
- Captain Marvel #22 by Jorge Molina (October 14)
- Venom #29 by Aaron Kuder (October 21)
- Guardians Of The Galaxy #7 by Javier Garron (October 21)
- Iron Man #2 by Marco Checchetto (October 21)
- X-Men #13 by Joe Quesada (October 21)
- Thor #9 by Salvador Larroca (November 4)

The Fortnite/Marvel crossover began when Donny Cates and Nic Klein's current Thor story arc spun off into a 10-page story by Cates and artist Greg Land which debuted in-game this year (which was reprinted in Fantastic Four #24.)
And earlier today, it was announced that Marvel heroes would be featured in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 in an event dubbed 'Nexus War.'
And this Fortnite/Marvel crossover appears to be ongoing, with Marvel saying in a press release "... and be sure to keep your eyes peeled in Marvel comics to catch hints of where these characters go – and return from – next!"

Of course, signs of this crossover have already begun in Fortnite with the appearance of Wolverine claw marks hidden across the game world - here are all the Fortnite Wolverine claw mark locations.
