Bust out the drumsticks and flex those fingers: Harmonix has outlined its plans for Rock Band 4's future, and major updates - including the ability to import songs from Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and LEGO Rock Band - start next month.
Also on the to-do list: practice mode and setlists. "There is a good amount of design work to figure out the best way to incorporate those features into Rock Band 4 and also to consider ways to improve on the implementation from Rock Band 3," Harmonix writes. "That said, the team is committed to bringing these back as soon as possible." The studio also notes that they hope to bring back online multiplayer, but that it will require "a ton" of testing before it's ready.
Unfortunately for all you keytarists out there, Harmonix states in a Reddit AMA (still going on, as of this writing) that keyboards are "never" coming back. Well, we'll always have Rock Lobster to remember it by.
