Scratches bites on PC
Sniff here if you've an itch to see a point and click adventure
These screens from PC adventure Scratches have bumped their way overnight from Got Game Entertainment to chill your computer to the very core of its processors.
Using M Night's psychological-horror style as its Shyamalan, developer Nucleosys has set its game in an isolated stately home where a brutal murder once took place. And despite being set in the 1970s, the clothes aren't going to be the most unfashionable element on show as the game also uses the now rarely seen point and click interface.
With puzzles based on thought rather than force and a hint system that points you in the right direction rather than leading you by the hand, Scratches uses the brooding, silent atmosphere of the gothic hall to slowly build up the tension and terror.
