The nominees for the Bafta EE Rising Star award have been announced, with the full list of 2013 Bafta nominations due to be announced on Wednesday 9 January.
On the shortlist, actresses Elizabeth Olsen ( Martha Marcy May Marlene , Oldboy ), Andrea Riseborough ( Shadow Dancer , Oblivion ), Juno Temple ( Killer Joe , Maleficent ) and Alicia Vikander ( A Royal Affair , Anna Karenina ) are joined by Life Of Pi actor Suraj Sharma.
The award is the only one of the ceremony that is put to a public vote, with the winner set to be announced in London on 10 February 2013.
The Rising Star award has proven itself to be a fairly good omen for the superstars of tomorrow, with James McAvoy, Kristen Stewart and Tom Hardy among the former recipients of the accolade.
