Batman: Return to Arkham has been delayed indefinitely
An announcement on the Warner Bros forums has stated that the remastered collection of Arkham Asylum and City which was planned for next month now no longer has a release date. Batman Return to Arkham was announced in May after a steady stream of leaks but has been delayed to "give the team at Virtuous Games additional time to deliver a polished Batman Arkham game experience."
Given that current gen first release dates are as reliable as the Joker when you bring him in quietly to Arkham Asylum, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise that we're going to have to wait a while. This isn't just one game either. Both Rocksteady Bat titles are up for this extra pretty lick of paint and after the issues that befell Arkham Knight on PC last year, it's no wonder that WB are being careful when it comes to the new release. I think we'd always rather get a better game in the end than a buggy mess with eternal patches. That's just not what the Batman deserves. I'll keep you updated. Shine a Bat signal, that kind of thing.
