Batman - The Telltale Series' first episode is coming in August
Batman - The Telltale series will debut in August and get a semi-physical release the month after, Telltale Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have announced. The first episode of the five-part adventure still doesn't have a specific digital release date for consoles, PC, and mobile devices, but you can pick up the "Season Pass Disc" starting on September 13.
The disc includes the first episode and will receive the rest via free updates, so it's not quite a solution for folks with poor or no internet connections (Telltale hopes to complete the series by the end of the year). But it does have some nice box art if that's what you're interested in. Check it out:
The Telltale-ified version of Batman will place just as much emphasis on his secret identity: wealthy man-about-town Bruce Wayne. Players will be able to resolve certain situations as either the Bat or the Bruce, depending on the choices they make. And judging by the first 30 minutes we spent with Batman - The Telltale Series, either option should be pretty thrilling.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
