Aug 22, 2007
Rock Band will now launch on PlayStation 2, in addition to Xbox 360 and PS3, developer Harmonix has announced at today's Leipzig Games Show. And as a nice little extra, there's also been ten new tracks revealed from the game's final line up.
The PS2 version will "showcase many of the same challenging modes" as the next-gen editions, according to Harmonix, but will also bring in new features only available on the last-gen machine.
The new tracks are all original master recordings, from a whole range of music pigeonholes. Here's the list of fresh tracks in full:
Rolling Stones “Gimme Shelter”
Deep Purple "Highway Star"
The Clash “Should I Stay or Should I Go”
Faith No More "Epic”
Smashing Pumpkins “Cherub Rock”
Radiohead “Creep”
Beastie Boys “Sabotage”
Jet “Are You Gonna Be My Girl”
OK Go “Here It Goes Again”
Nine Inch Nails “The Hand That Feeds”
