Best of E3 06: Nintendo DS
Two screens must have meant twice as many good games as we expected... check out the best
Yoshi's Island 2
Developer: Nintendo
Publisher: Nintendo
Release Date: Q4 2006
Nintendo's DS lineup is littered with remakes and sequels to classic games, but the one we're gunning for is Yoshi's Island 2. For the most part, it's a Mario game, but the bouncy, storybook world and egg-throwing Yoshis make it feel just different enough.
It's a reliable setup, but the SNES original remains one of the best 2D platformers of all time - no reason to think this one won't be up to the task as well. We played through an entire world at E3 and loved every second.
