Call of Duty 3

Publisher: Activision
Developer: Treyarch
Release Date: Fall 2006

We got totally broadsided by the announcement of Call of Duty 3 on the Xbox, but to get a trailer for it is almost too much to believe. Sure, the trailer contains mostly stuff that we've seen in previous versions of the game, but the part where we struggle with a German soldier for control of our rifle delivers an intensity we could hardly endure.

In a series known for incredibly gripping gameplay, Call of Duty 3 could ensure that the final days of the current-gen console won't be too terribly dark.
