Best PlayStation 5 headset
These PlayStation 5 headsets will complement your next-gen console perfectly.
While PlayStation 5's might be hard to get a hold of, PlayStation 5 headsets are not. Happily, almost all PS4 accessories work on the PS5, so we have many excellent products to choose from. Whether you are looking for comfort over long gaming sessions, excellent audio for an immersive experience, or the best mic you can get for talking to your squad, we have a headset for you.
We've spent a lot of hours trying out a host of different headsets, and we've managed to narrow down the field to the choices we have listed below. Because they are all amazing this list is presented in no particular order, though I will admit that the Sennheiser GSP 600 are my personal favourites.
Sennheiser GSP 600
Hear only what you want to hear
The GSP 600 are easily my favourite of the headsets on this list. In fact, I liked them so much that I bought a pair for myself. The build quality is excellent, and while the headband can feel tight across your head, it allows for superb noise cancellation. The audio is brilliant, after all, it is Sennheiser, and the audio feels targeted to specific points. It's a truly great headset.
Razer Blackshark V2
The PS5 headset with the best comfort
One of the lightest headsets on the list, the Razer Blackshark V2 is incredibly comfortable playing a long gaming session. You could easily play through an entire six-hour Destiny 2 Raid with no discomfort while using the Blackshark.
Logitech G733 LIGHTSPEED
RGB lighting makes everything better
While audio quality is important in a headset, sometimes so is style. The Logitech G733 are an excellent choice if you stream your games a lot, or if you want to look cool. The RGB strip around the ears and the striking blue and violet colours make these a worthy addition to your gaming space. Oh, and the sound is pretty great, and they have a 29-hour battery life, so that's good too.
ASTRO Gaming A50
Big money for superior audio
A premium build comes with a premium price tag, but you can rest assured that you're getting an excellent headset for what you pay for here, with physical and software customization options available. It may need the base unit to work properly with PS5, but it also gives an unrivalled audio experience.
HyperX Cloud II
It's red so you know it's cool
The HyperX Cloud II is a fantastic all-round gaming headset that has one ace up its sleeve. Unlike most wireless headsets that only last 20-24 hours, the HyperX will last a massive 30+ hours of gaming. This means you can play when needed without worrying if you missed charging it.
Turtle Beach Stealth 700
Every feature you can think of
Turtle Beach has been known for its excellent headsets for a long time, and the Stealth 700 is peak Turtle Beach. While the microphone is a little quieter than I like, the Superhuman sound boost makes your teams audio crystal clear. The stealths even have cooling gel in the ears, so you don't get over sweaty, and 3D audio to hear all of the action.
