Bethesda has begun teasing what is presumably a new game via a series of mysterious videos posted on Vine. The short teasers, which are viewable below, feature images including a spinning record, burning flowers and what appears to be a male figure whose head is obscured.
Pete Hines, the company’s VP of marketing and PR, appeared to shoot down suggestions that it’s a Fallout game in a post on Twitter, although we wouldn’t expect him to say anything different ahead of an official announcement. Other possibilities include a new Wolfenstein title, Prey 2, or the debut release from Resident Evil and Vanquish creator Shinji Mikami's studio, Tango Gameworks, which was acquired by Bethesda in 2010.
Bethesda said earlier this week that the team behind Skyrim is moving on to its next major project after more than 16 months of post-release support, although it gave no indication of what that title will be.
