Big movie tie-ins for 2008
What Hollywood blockbusters will be getting the game treatment?
Bolt (aka American Dog) | Nov 2008
What's it all about?
Animals. Apparently Disney's 'big thing' for 2008. Bolt is a German Shepherd dog and a star of his own show. He thinks that the super power abilities he has on TV are real. However, he goes on a massive downer when he discovers that he's just a regular mutt. It all sounds a bit like Buzz Lightyear with a tail. Voice actors include John Travolta and Woody Harrelson.
Is it getting gamed-up?
Nothing announced, but this is Disney we're talking about. There will be a game and it'll be released for everything.
Should you be excited?
Not really. It'll probably be the usual blend of movie tie-in pap and only morons under the age of 10 will be able to find any kind of redeeming features. Although if they actually bothered playing games that weren't crummy movie tie-ins, they'd realise they were wrong in the head for ever entertaining the idea. Still, when it is released it'll still probably sell more than Super Mario Galaxy.
