Bill Nighy signs up for Total Recall reboot
As do Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale
Bill Nighy has joined Colin Farrell in the Total Recall reboot.
The British actor will take on the role of Quatto, the enigmatic and charming leader of the resistance. In the 1990 original, the resistance is based on Mars.
Not so in director Len Wiseman’s new adaptation of Phillip K Dick’s story We Can Remember It For You Wholesale , which will feature a number of differences to the original Arnie actioner.
Meanwhile, Wiseman’s wife Kate Beckinsale has officially landed the lead role of Lori, while Jessica Biel will play the second female lead Melina.
Now that those three pivotal roles have been cast – alongside Farrell as hero Quaid and Bryan Cranston as the villain – filming on Recall is scheduled to start this Monday in Toronto.
