Biutiful gets domestic trailer
Is, well, really beautiful...
Biutiful , the film that earned Javier Bardem the coveted Best Actor award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, has released its first full length trailer online.
Light on plot, but heavy on mood and imagery, the trailer introduces us to Bardem’s Uxbal, who is struggling in his numerous roles as a father, a lover and a criminal.
Living in Barcelona, he would sacrifice anything for his children, but is there any redemption for his fractured soul?
Check out the trailer below…
In keeping with the film’s title, Alejandro González Iñárritu’s latest film looks stunningly beautiful. With memorable images galore (those bodies on the beach, the towering, snow-peppered trees) and a mournful tone, it’s clear to see why the film made such an impact at Cannes this year.
Biutiful opens in the UK on 28 January, 2011.
