Best Black Friday 4K projector deals 2025: everything to expect in November
All the biggest models you should be watching later this year

Whether you're holding out for a saving or preparing for a holiday home theatre renovation, it's well worth keeping an eye on Black Friday 4K projector deals towards the end of the year. We may be a few months out now, but with this year's roster of releases still making their way to the shelves and plenty of older models poised to drop even further in price, things are looking good for 2025.
That's because pixel-shifting 4K projectors are getting cheaper than ever. These devices use upscaling to output at a full UHD resolution while costing significantly less than a true native 4K device. The best projectors overall can cost upwards of $10,000, so discounts on cheaper $1,500 devices are always worth investigating.
I've been tracking Black Friday deals for six years now, and I've been hands-on with plenty of the latest and greatest 4K projectors on the market. You'll find everything I expect to see from this year's Black Friday 4K projector deals just below. However, it's worth keeping an eye on wider Black Friday projector deals for cheaper 1080p options as well.
When will Black Friday 4K projector deals begin?
Black Friday 4K projector deals will take place on November 28 this year, with the majority of retailers launching their official sales from the start of Thanksgiving week. However, as we saw last year, these annual discounts really start to kick off from the beginning of October.
Where will the best Black Friday 4K projector deals be?
As ever, it's the big boys in the retail and e-tail (sorry) games that you'll want to keep an eye on now - these will have the best Black Friday 4K projector deals.
US:
Amazon: always the starting point for a tech search
Best Buy: well-stocked, and often price matches
Samsung: go straight to the makers of the Premiere 4K projectors
Newegg: decent stock and will have good deals when the time comes
Walmart: a good selection, and has bricks and mortar stores to visit
UK:
Amazon: regular discounts and speedy delivery
Samsung: go direct and check out the Premiere from the maker itself
Very: a smaller selection, but always worth a look at this retailer
Currys: a reliable seller, and one with a decent range of stock
Box: an underrated tech retailer but always worth a look
What to expect from Black Friday 4K projector deals in 2025
2025's offerings are already looking well-primed for some Black Friday 4K projector deals. There are three models in particular we'd recommend keeping a close eye on; the BenQ X3100i, XGIMI Horizon Ultra, and LG Cinebeam Q.
The first is a gaming projector but it can still tussle with the best of them when it comes to everyday entertainment. The 4K pixel-shifting projector initially hit the market at $2,399 in 2023, but has since dropped to $2,199 fairly regularly over the last year. At the very least, we would expect to see it at this position come Black Friday, but if things go particularly well those numbers could drop to $1,999.
The XGIMI Horizon Ultra is for those going all-in on their home cinema. It's a recent release that nails its setup, extra features, and overall brightness, offering excellent 4K picture with a design that won't break up a living room decor. This is slightly cheaper as well, starting life at $1,699.99. We generally see discounts of $100 on this model when sales hit, but it's dropped as low as $1,349 in previous Black Friday 4K projector deals.
The LG Cinebeam Q has a prestige to it that few 4K projectors manage to boast. The latest model hit the shelves in March 2024, sporting a unique metallic look and a tiny portable form factor. This is among the cheapest 4K models on the market, occupying a $1,299.99 MSRP but regularly dropping below four figures. We've seen it go as low as $789.99 over Black Friday last year, but is generally found for between $900 and $950 day to day.
Projectors in the 4K realm are, indeed, some of the most expensive by default. It's no accident that we're seeing the same price differences in projectors as we were once used to in TVs: the higher the resolution the more money you need to spend. And while that's still the case, generally, the tech is getting more affordable. The fact remains that Black Friday 4K projector deals are the best placed to get the most for your money, year in, year out.
We will be seeing some great 4K models from the top table drop to record low prices this year, and offer immense bang for buck value. The likes of Epson, XGIMI, BenQ, ViewSonic, and Optoma will all likely get in on the act with their most premium models having their time in the deals sun.

Do 4K projectors go on sale for Black Friday?
They absolutely do. And not only can we be really certain in saying that - we've been doing this for years at this point - but Black Friday 4K projector deals are some of the biggest and best out there when the deals start flooding in properly.
This is because, as the phrase goes, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Meaning that those products and tech items with the highest starting points and largest price tags are often the ones to get the biggest and deepest price cuts - certainly be percentages anyway. And, by extension of that, as 4K projectors are the units in the field that demand the higher price tags by default, these are the ones we often see the most exciting deals on.
Is 4K worth it for a projector?
4K is definitely worth it for those after a high quality picture from their projector. Whether you're gaming or streaming UHD content, you'll find sharper picture, greater detailing, and a crisper overall effect if you opt for a 4K projector.
Of course, we're also taking a look to the screen industry this year. You'll find everything we expect from 2023's Black Friday OLED TV deals and Black Friday QLED TV deals - as well as the Black Friday QD-OLED deals we're anticipating as well.
