Cyber Monday gaming PC deals 2024: What to expect for this year's sales

Cyber Monday gaming PC deals

Cyber Monday gaming PC deals are one of the best opportunities throughout the year to get a new gaming PC or some components for cheaper. That goes for any point on the pricing scale, too. If you're a first-time shopper converting from one of the console platforms, there will be some great entry-level gear discounted this year. If you're an upgrader or someone looking to buy an enthusiast-grade monster of a PC, Cyber Monday will save you some serious coin.

Cyber Monday gaming PC deals follow straight on from Black Friday PC deals, and often, we see the same deals extended throughout both events. We track the deals on gaming PCs and their parts throughout the year, and when we get to this time of year, we're laser-focused on finding you the best gaming hardware for the most reasonable prices. As we get further toward the event, we'll be keeping this page up to date with the latest buying advice.

The good news is that we've already seen some excellent gaming PC deals in 2024, which bodes well for deals season. Before we hit Cyber Monday, we've got a few stops left on the value train. October's Prime Day event is coming up, and of course, all eyes after that will be on Black Friday. There's currently excellent value to be had in buying a pre-built gaming PC, especially compared to building from scratch. That isn't what experienced PC gamers want to hear, but hopefully from the FAQ answers and list of last year's best offers we've saved down below, you'll see that for yourself.

FAQ

When did Cyber Monday Gaming PC deals begin?

Cyber Monday 2024 falls on Monday, December 2. Black Friday and Cyber Monday fall particularly late in the month his year, meaning Cyber Monday is actually a December event, less than a month before Christmas. If I were you, though, I'd be keeping an eye on Prime Day sales in October, and then Black Friday offers. Black Friday in particular has begun blending into Cyber Monday every year, and the deals start earlier each time. Expect deals to start popping up in the middle of November.

Should I wait until Cyber Monday to buy a gaming PC?

Given that Cyber Monday happens right after Black Friday, I personally wouldn't recommend waiting specifically for Cyber Monday gaming PC deals. Black Friday and Cyber Monday are competitive for shoppers, and we'd always bet on the early birds to catch the worms. Weirdly, some of the best deals last year started before the Friday, so keep your eyes peeled from the 20th onwards.

With how decent we've seen gaming PC prices to be in 2024, we'd even watch out for Prime Day PC deals, which will take place in October. You might find the specs you want for a similar price as Black Friday if last year is anything to go by.

Where will the best Cyber Monday gaming PC deals be?

We generally find that Amazon, being the world's largest online retailer, tends to have a good selection of Cyber Monday gaming PC deals to choose from, with Dell holding some of the deeper discounts on its line of Alienware PCs as well. That's not to count out the likes of Newegg and eBuyer, which have offered some stellar savings on prebuilt systems in the past, too. Here are some important retailers to keep an eye on during the week of Black Friday and into Cyber Monday.

US:

Amazon:
Some of the fairest prices on prebuilt gaming PCs online
Dell: A handful of deals on the Alienware Aurora range
Best Buy: Competitive rates on all major PC brands
Walmart: Cheap prices on entry-level PC configurations
Newegg: Great savings on prebuilt gaming rigs

UK:

Amazon:
Deals and low rates on major gaming PC brands
Currys: Few deals, but offers a wide variety of prebuilt systems
eBuyer: Save on select systems and brands
Overclockers UK: Mostly stocks high-end configurations at good prices
Very: Regular discounts available on PC Specialist machines

Cyber Monday gaming PC deals: What to expect

Cyber Monday PC deals should be quite promising in 2024. After the lackluster demand for gaming PCs and parts in 2024, it feels like manufacturers have been rolling up their sleeves this year to create interest in upgrading to new-generation motherboards. DDR5 RAM has been more alluring than ever, thanks to a massive range of processors on the shelves that support it, and pre-built gaming PCs are such great value as well.

Since we saw similar things during July's Prime Day event, we'd expect RTX 4060 gaming PCs with DDR5 RAM inside them to cost around $800 during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This should, in theory, bring the mid-rangers like RTX 4070 / AMD Radeon RX 7800XT PCs down to the $1,200 level and below, especially since Nvidia's "Super" range supplies more options too. If you're going to go for an enthusiast-level PC, make sure you're getting great parts for the money.

CPUs are expected to be super cheap this November and December since Intel and AMD both have three generations of DDR5 chips available and for both sides, they function on the same motherboards. That gives people so many options to choose from, and with each brand essentially competing with itself, there are bound to be some great prices out there.

SSDs and RAM will hopefully see some discounts too, especially since prices of both have remained pretty stubborn this year. DDR5 is definitely more affordable than it's been, but the true value might be in buying a whole rig if you're yet to make the leap to the DDR5 age.

Hardware Editor

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension. Location: UK Remote
