Blake Lively passes on Pride And Prejudice And Zombies
Does anyone want to be in this thing?
First Natalie Portman dropped out. Then Emma Stone, Scarlett Johansson, Mia Wasikowska and Rooney Mara passed.
Now Blake Lively has become the latest actress to turn down Pride And Prejudice And Zombies .
It’s taken her longer than most to pass on the project – she was offered the part two weeks ago – but she’s come to the same conclusion as every other hot property in Hollywood. She’s got better things to do.
Based on Seth Grahame-Smith’s reimagining of Jane Austen’s classic – which chucked zombies and ninjas into the original out-of-copyright text – Pride And Prejudice And Zombies sounded like it would automatically make an awesome flick.
But the more actresses turn it down, the more we start to worry. Who’s next to reject the script? Tara Reid?
Pride And Prejudice And Zombies will be released by Lionsgate in 2013. If they can find anyone willing to appear in it.
