Blazing Angels roaring onto PS3
[PS3] New content promised for high-flying WWII shooter
How many times have you said to yourself, "Gosh, I'd really like to get a PS3 when it launches, but I'm just not sure if there'll be a good World War II-themed flight sim available for the system at launch?"
We're going to guess "few," but if it's somehow been your central concern, have no fear: today, Ubisoft announced that Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII will arrive on the PS3 as part of the system's launch library.
Although we imagine the PS3 version of the aerial shooter will be largely identical to the Xbox 360 version - which we've reviewed here - Ubisoft also announced that the PS3 Blazing Angels will pack in exclusive new missions. It'll also make use of the PS3's motion-sensitive tilt controller, which should make its 16-player dogfights and co-op missions even more interesting.
