MTV has released a new teaser for its forthcoming Scream TV show, and mighty bloody it is too, as the camera pans around the wreckage of a thoroughly gore-soaked party…
The new promo shows a host of nubile partygoers left as a heap of corpses by an unseen killer, in what is a surprisingly nasty teaser for the show to come. Anyone thinking MTV would pull its punches might think twice after watching this one!

Lashings of blood matched with quippy, campus humour? It certainly seems as though the new show has a decent handle on what made the original film such a hit. Let’s hope the pilot can deliver in similarly gruesome fashion… Co-starring Bella Thorne, Bex Taylor-Klaus and Willa Fitzgerald, Scream will make its debut in the US on 30 June 2015.
