HBO and Scorsese show Vinyl gets a rock 'n' roll teaser
HBO's forthcoming music drama from Martin Scorsese, Mick Jagger and Terence Winter has been on the books for a while, and it's only now that we've learned its title: Vinyl. The series stars Bobby Cannavale as a 1970s record exec whose life has turned to crap after his hedonistic ways got the better of him. Set during the blistering era of disco, punk and pop, it's not hard to imagine why.
The first brief teaser for the show has now hit the web, offering a glimpse into the ten-episode series that's all sex, drugs, rock 'n' roll and then some more drugs just to make sure. Cannavale takes centre stage as he struggles to keep his label from going under. Check out the teaser below.
Clocking in at one minute, there's plenty here to hold our interest --particularly the Goodfellas-inspired fight scenes. Vinyl co-stars Olivia Wilde and is set to debut sometime in 2016.
