Start saving up your Microsoft Points, because an all new version of Bomberman, spruced up for HD, is coming to Live Arcade. Bomberman Live will allow for up to 8 Bombermen and Bomberwomento compete over Xbox Live, and up to four can compete on a single system. Expect to be able to download Bomberman Live when it launches worldwide this summer.
The game is being brought to you via the good people at Hudson Entertainment, and it should feature the same action frenzied style of gameplay the series has won so many awards for. For those of you that don't know, there have been over 60 iterations of the Bomberman games. The gameplay goes something like this: players move around a grid-like, obstacle filled arena and drop bombs to uncover power-ups and blast each other into piles bomber-dust. That's it. It's that simple, and it's a lot of fun. We can't wait to try it out whensummergets here.
