Brad Pitt stars in new images from Fury
Ready for war
Two new images have appeared online for David Ayer's WW2 drama, Fury , in which Brad Pitt stars as a grizzled, battle-scarred military man.
The film, described by Ayer as "the ultimate tank movie", will follow Pitt's character and the rest of his five-man crew, as they attempt to strike a behind-enemy-lines attack on Nazi Germany.
According to Ayer, Pitt is playing a, "badass, hard, tough, intense guy," remarking that "it's a different kind of role for him."
Then there's co-star Shia LaBeouf, of whom Ayer says, "he's insanely good in this thing… he's a joy to work with and I can't wait to work with him again."
And as for the tank? "I couldn’t tell you how much insurance this thing had on it," says Ayer. "It actually ended up performing really well. It’s like the tank was happy to get out of the barn and run around."
Co-starring Logan Lerman, Michael Peña and Jon Bernthal, Fury will open in the UK on 24 October 2014.
