England's victory in the fourth test of the Ashes has boosted Brian Lara International Cricket's sales by an impressive 35%, and secured the Codemasters title another week at number one in the process.
After a particularly dry gaming summer, a new launch finally hits the top 10, with Summit Strike, the Xbox add-on to Ubisoft's Ghost Recon 2, dropping in at three - it's just held off second place by the cutesy creatures of Madagascar.
Strong promotional pushes boost alien invasion Destroy All Humans and Lego Star Wars back into the top 10, while further new entries hit the top 20 as PS2's Resident Evil Outbreak File 2 lands at 15 and spherical simian silliness in Super Monkey Ball Deluxe rolls in at 16.
Sony's PSP is now out, along with 23 launch titles, so there's a massive selection of gaming goodness on offer this week including futuristic racer Wipeout Pure, hypnotic puzzler Lumines and the superb Virtua Tennis World Tour. Take a look at our PSP-friendly downloadable reviews of every launch game .
