Broken Age Act 2's finally done, here's how to start playing
Double Fine has finished its crowdfunded adventure game three years in the making, and backers can now play through all of Broken Age on PC. If you weren't one of the Double Fine Adventure's more than 80,000 early supporters, you won't have to wait too much longer to play.
It's been a long time coming, so here's a quick primer: Broken Age was split into two parts midway through development, and Act 1 first released last year on PC, Ouya, and mobile devices. Backers should have a "beta" code in their inboxes which they can use to start playing Act 2 early, and everybody else can get it on on Tuesday as a free update or as an in-app purchase, depending on the platform.
Last but not least, the whole package will hit PS4 and PS Vita at once on Tuesday. Don't get all misty eyed - the 20th and final episode of the accompanying documentary series is still coming, so Double Fine's influential experiment in crowdfunding isn't over quite yet.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
