Bryan Singer confirms X-Men: Apocalypse has found its Jubilee
X-Men: Apocalypse has added another young mutant to its growing ensemble, with Bryan Singer confirming via Instagram that Lana Condor is the latest arrival.
Jubilee has featured in bit-part roles in the first three X-Men films, but will likely have a bit more to do here, as Singer brings some new mutants to the fore. For those not too familiar with the character, her special power is the ability to create pyrotechnic energy bursts – a kind of mutant firework display.
Condor will line up alongside fellow new additions Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner, Alexandra Shipp and Kody Smit-McPhee, as Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm and Nightcrawler respectively. Latino Review also speculates that cameos will come from the likes of Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Channing Tatum.
Directed by Singer and co-starring the returning Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and Jennifer Lawrence, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016 and the US on 27 May 2016.
